Applications

Avoid handling the painted object.

Technical specifications:

  • Spreading spary format 270/200ml = 1 m2 ; 520/400ml = 2 m2
  • Drying time in 30 minutes.
  • Repainted in 1 hour.

How to apply

The surface to paint must be clean, dry and free of any contaminants.

Shake the can vigorously during 1 minute after the mixing balls sound. Spray from a distance of 25/30 cm, applying thin and quick layers, first horizontally and then vertically. It is advisable to spray two thin layers instead of one thick layer in order to obtain uniform coverage and avoid paint sagging. Once the operation is complete reverse the can and push the nozzle until only gas comes out in order to prevent nozzle clogging.

Once finished it should not be rubbed, varnished or treated with any cleaner or solvent as it will lose gloss.

Differences between chrome and decorative chrome effect

We must distinguish between the professional chrome of the merely decorative. For professional chrome plating, the object must be immersed in a temperature-controlled container with the liquid chromium so that it adheres and forms the chromed film. Nowadays it is impossible to achieve the same finish with a spray as the temperature immersion treatment. In spray only exists the chrome effect for decorative use. This chrome effect layer emulates traditional chrome objects.

Recommendations for use to paint with chrome effect

For decorative use only.

For greater anchorage and protection, pretreat the surface with any of the available PINTYPLUS primers depending on the surface and final use of the object to be painted.

To paint on surfaces already painted, if the paint is well adhered, we will sand it superficially to facilitate the adhesion. If the paint is in poor condition we will remove it by sanding or other means such as Greenox Stripper.

To clean the painted object, avoid using any chemical or natural product. Better a duster than a rag.

Test prior to use on a sample or fragment of the field to be used to prevent incompatibilities.

Start and finish spraying outside the limits of the work.

Do not use on equipment connected to the power and apply in ventilated places.

Once empty, the aerosol should be deposited in the yellow container.
